Tryouts for 2023 Top Tier South Teams

Tryouts for the 2023 Top Tier South Baseball Teams will take place in late June & early July of 2022 with specific dates & locations for each age group outlined below. Top Tier South plans to have one team at each age level 8u – 13u and two teams at prep & high school age levels 14u – 17u.

There is no tryout fee for participating athletes but it is suggested that only interested and serious participants attend as roster spots are limited and highly contentious.

All participants are required to bring their own gear, water and players are expected to be dressed in baseball attire. No metal cleats as both indoor and outdoor tryouts will be conducted on artificial turf surfaces.

Age Level Details & Birth Date Restrictions

8u – Born May 1st, 2014 or After – Players Cannot turn 9 years old prior to May 1st, 2023

9u – Born May 1st, 2013 or After – Players Cannot turn 10 years old prior to May 1st, 2023

10u – Born May 1st, 2012 or After – Players Cannot turn 11 years old prior to May 1st, 2023

11u – Born May 1st, 2011 or After – Players Cannot turn 12 years old prior to May 1st, 2023

12u – Born May 1st, 2010 or After – Players Cannot turn 13 years old prior to May 1st, 2023

13u – Born May 1st, 2009 or After – Players Cannot turn 14 years old prior to May 1st, 2023

14u – Born May 1st, 2008 or After – Players Cannot turn 15 years old prior to May 1st, 2023

15u – Born May 1st, 2007 or After – Players Cannot turn 16 years old prior to May 1st, 2023 or is a Freshman in High School for 2021-22 School Year

16u – Born May 1st, 2006 or After – Players Cannot turn 17 years old prior to May 1st, 2023 or is a Sophomore in High School for 2022-23 School Year

17u – Born May 1st, 2005 or After – Players Cannot turn 18 years old prior to May 1st, 2023 or is a Junior in High School for 2022-23 School Year
